About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Trauma Surgery team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Trauma Surgeons to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of trauma patients, including rounding on floor patients and ICU patients
  • Respond to trauma resuscitations and assist with trauma consultations in the ED
  • See patients in the Trauma Clinic and progress notes, H & P, and discharge summaries
  • Write orders and respond to nursing's phone calls
Requirements
  • NP/PA GA license (unrestricted)
  • ACLS, BLS, ATLS preferred
  • Clinical background in ED or critical care
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to function autonomously
  • Strong communication and computer skills
