About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our Trauma team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. As a key member of our team, you will assist our Trauma Surgeons in critical situations and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Round on floor patients and ICU patients, responding to trauma resuscitations and assisting with trauma consultations in the ED.
  • Progress notes, H & P, and respond to nursing's phone calls.
  • Write orders and manage patient care.

Requirements

  • NP/PA GA license (unrestricted), ACLS, BLS, ATLS preferred.
  • Clinical background in ED or critical care, strong critical thinking skills, and ability to function autonomously.
  • Strong communication and computer skills, comfortable working across disciplines to facilitate patient care.
