Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement, and oversee AWS infrastructure adhering to best practices for scalability, security, availability, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence.
  • Create and sustain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and efficient automated application deployment.
  • Employ infrastructure-as-code methodologies utilizing tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Work alongside development teams to embed automated testing within the CI/CD framework.
  • Monitor and resolve infrastructure and application challenges, ensuring optimal performance and high availability.
  • Continuously refine and enhance AWS infrastructure and deployment methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  • AWS Certification (Certified DevOps Engineer, Developer, or Solutions Architect).
A minimum of 6 years of software development experience.
At least 2 years of experience in Agile methodologies.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in deploying cloud-based solutions.
At least 2 years of experience in implementing hybrid cloud solutions.

A Master's degree from an accredited institution specializing in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.


  • Extensive hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, particularly focused on AWS.
  • Relevant AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Strong expertise in migrating data from on-premises environments to the cloud.

  • Proficient in designing and managing AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, Redshift, AWS Glue, and DMS.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • In-depth knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Awareness of security best practices within AWS environments.
  • Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Competence in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of Agile development practices.
  • Strong customer orientation and business insight.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
  • Capacity to swiftly learn and apply new concepts or principles, as evidenced by prior experience.
  • Highly organized with exceptional time-management capabilities.
  • Adaptability to evolving requirements and responsibilities.
