About the Role

We're seeking a Business Analyst to drive large-scale projects, programs, and technical initiatives. In this role, you'll be responsible for converting data into actionable business insights.



Key Responsibilities


  1. Own the development and maintenance of new and existing solution artifacts focused on driving efficiency within the business via analysis, metrics, and reporting dashboards.

  2. Partner with operations/business teams to consult, develop, and implement KPIs, automated reporting/process solutions, and process improvements to meet business needs.

  3. Enable effective decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.

  4. Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks.

  5. Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions.

  6. Design, develop, and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our business needs.

Basic Qualifications


  • 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

  • 3+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience

  • 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

  • Experience with Excel



Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent



Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
