About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at GP Fund Solutions, LLC. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day accounting and finance tasks to support our firm's clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform treasury functions, including reconciliation of bank accounts, processing of disbursements, and preparation of cash reporting.
  • Prepare and submit journal entries into cloud-based industry-specific accounting software.
  • Prepare assigned workpapers for fund products within the quarterly reporting cycle.
  • Prepare and review mail merge procedures.
  • Prepare GAAP financial statements.
  • Manage multiple ad-hoc investor inquiries.
  • May handle preparation and/or review of capital activity, including capital calls, allocations, and distributions.
  • May analyze and enact Partnership Agreements and related organizational documents.
  • May analyze cash composition and forecasting of quarterly expenses.
  • Maintenance and review of SOC-1 internal control procedures.
  • Weekly maintenance of an internal client deliverable schedule.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with software related products, such as Microsoft software programs, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and OneNote.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification.
  • Private fund administration experience.
