Key Responsibilities:
The role encompasses the entire patient journey; from pre-operative to post-operative care, including duties in the surgical suite.

- Ensure timely retrieval of patient records as needed
- Oversee the collection, processing, maintenance, storage, and appropriate access to patient and clinical records
- Assist with pre-operative and post-operative consultations as required
- Support the RN with opening and closing tasks
- Prepare instruments, equipment, and the operating room
- Document surgery notes and progress reports
- Provide assistance to the physician during procedures as necessary
- Clean and sterilize the operating room and instruments
- Explain treatment procedures, medications, and physician instructions to patients and caregivers
- Schedule follow-up appointments
- Maintain adequate medical supplies

Physical Demands:
- Use of telecommunication devices, computers, and other related instruments while interacting with patients, caregivers, physicians, and staff
- Visual and auditory acuity
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Key Skills/Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid and current State LVN/LPN License
- ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually
- Strong clinical judgment regarding wound assessment, including signs of infection, bleeding, and proper healing
- Ability to interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Proficient in writing reports and correspondence
- Problem-solving skills and logical reasoning in a professional manner
- Familiarity with MS Office, including Excel
- Basic arithmetic skills

Education:
- Graduate of an accredited LVN/LPN program and successfully passed the state licensing examination

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year as an LVN/LPN
- Recent experience in operating room settings and circulating
- Experience in a cosmetic surgery center is advantageous
