Staff Pharmacist - Clinical Services

Thrifty White Pharmacy is a 100% employee-owned mid-sized pharmacy chain committed to serving small towns and cities in the rural Midwest. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Pharmacist to join our team.

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will have the opportunity to practice at the top of your license, providing various clinical services and managing disease states. Our employee owners have developed and implemented several programs and initiatives that allow our pharmacists to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
  • Champion Thrifty White programs to patients, such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization, and HealthyPackRx, and assist with enrolling patients.
  • Lead team by modeling, coaching, and maintaining high standards in patient service.
  • Structure and organize workflow and systems for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and providing clinical services.
  • Develop and follow up on long-term care business through immediate communication and attention to the needs of nursing homes, group homes, and assisted living residences.
  • Identify long-term care and specialty business and communicate opportunities with marketers.
  • Dispense medications, related supplies, and provide all clinical pharmacy services.

Requirements:

  • Must have or be willing to obtain Minnesota licensure.
  • A pharmacy license or the ability to receive a pharmacy license without any federal sanctions.
  • A PharmD or MTM Certification (must provide a copy of the course completion certificate from an approved ACPE program).
  • Current Immunization Certification.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • NPI Number.
