Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Superintendent to join our team at TM Source Building Group. As a key member of our construction operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all construction field activities, ensuring safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed, and adherence to budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Oversee and make decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and trade employee staffing levels.
  • Site Safety: Manage the overall site safety program, ensuring subcontractor compliance with Source Building Group standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.
  • Team Management: Supervise and develop Field Engineers and/or interns, as assigned, including providing input on or completing performance appraisals.
  • Scheduling and Sequencing: Create schedules and determine sequencing of work, developing and implementing recovery strategies to maintain project schedule.
  • Communication: Communicate with owners and architects/engineers in connection with field issues, investigating and resolving such issues.
  • Financial Management: Participate in the subcontractor and Source Building Group billing process, overseeing the monthly estimate of work completed, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications.
  • Quality Control: Manage the work to ensure that it is installed in compliance with and conforms to the approved contract documents.
  • Preconstruction Activities: Participate in preconstruction activities such as bidding and estimating, constructability reviews, and promoting project opportunities to subcontractors.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of Ten (10) years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of building construction, means and methods, scheduling, general contract, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings, and specifications. Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite software as well as a level of Scheduling Software.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thoroughly read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedule.
