Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and fluoroscopy exams, to help diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and fluoroscopy exams, to help diagnose and treat patients.
  • Position patients for optimal imaging results and ensure proper positioning and technique.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units, to produce high-quality images.
  • Assist physicians during diagnostic or special procedures, including assisting with sterile technique.
  • Provide accurate explanations and instructions to patients and family members at an appropriate level.
  • Follow safety standards and conduct all imaging procedures accordingly.
  • Maintain proper sterile techniques for procedures and ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section.
  • ARRT-R - Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA) certification.
