Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Testing Specialist to join our team at Ardaman, a subsidiary of Tetra Tech. As a key member of our geotechnical engineering and materials testing consulting firm, you will be responsible for performing sampling/testing and observation/inspection of soils, concrete, and other materials on construction projects throughout the United States and international service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct field testing and sampling of construction materials, including soils, concrete, and aggregates.
  • Perform laboratory testing and analysis of construction materials.
  • Observe and inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise and support.
  • Travel extensively to various project sites throughout the United States and internationally.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as civil engineering, geology, or materials science.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction materials testing and inspection.
  • NICET Certification, ACI Certification, and Radiation Safety - Nuclear Density Gauge training preferred.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Safe driving record and authorization to work in the United States.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
