We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to manufacturing and fabrication.
Key Responsibilities- Manufacturing and Fabrication: Performs machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication, and extrusion, tube bending, and fabrication tasks.
- Composite Fabrication: Performs composite client-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.
- Assembly and Installation: Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
- Repair and Maintenance: Assembles, repairs, modifies, and installs various power plants and drive trains. Performs soldering on electronic and avionics products. Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products.
- Test Preparation: Prepares test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to perform various tests.
- Coatings and Finishing: Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation. Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.
- Quality Control: Works on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements.
- Technical Skills: Must be proficient in using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Communication and Work Ethic: Must have demonstrated strong effective communication, work ethic, and sense of urgency for completing assigned tasks/work.
**Shift Requirements:** Must be able to work variable shifts, including 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, as required by business needs.
**Clearance Requirements:** Successful completion and clearance of all screening requirements is a contingency for this assignment.
**Training and Development:** 3 weeks of training provided.
