Nurse Coordinator Role in Florida Healthcare

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator SP to join their team. As a key member of the hospital's nursing staff, this individual will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during designated shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other management team members.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Operationalize current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives, to improve engagement.
- Recommend and implement courses of action for training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage practical aspects of staff labor according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- Neonate Resuscitation certification must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse degree and Registered Nurse Diploma.
