Position Type: Temp-To-Hire
Compensation: $18 - $22/hr based on experience
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with Saturday hours from 8am-12pm during peak seasons.

The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of lawn care machinery and outdoor power tools. Responsibilities will include executing both basic and advanced diagnostic assessments and repairs independently.

Key Qualifications:

  • Possession of personal tools (Tool List Provided Post-Interview)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical/Trade School Certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance; Basic Service Technical Certification is preferred
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 75lbs consistently
  • Proficient computer skills for navigating business systems and service portals
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to compose and send emails
  • Basic writing skills with attention to grammar and spelling
  • Capability to interpret service and parts manuals
  • Valid driver's license

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Repair of small engines (2-cycle and 4-cycle)
  • Assembly and refurbishment of residential and commercial lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, edgers, and blowers
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations as instructed, identifying failure causes, determining repair strategies, and sourcing necessary tools and parts
  • Perform setup and pre-delivery inspections for new or used equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of time, parts, and supplies used during repairs
  • Ensure the work area is kept clean and safe
