About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. This is a full-time, night shift position in our Stroke Unit.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes. As a Registered Nurse in our Stroke Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and contribute to a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and communicate effectively with families and caregivers.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advances in stroke care.
Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Certification as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
