Job Title: Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician

At Safran, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform acceptance inspection and testing of all procured components, sub-assemblies, and raw materials as required.
  • Perform final inspection and acceptance of all customer spare parts orders.
  • Complete all applicable forms related to the inspection process.
  • Follow all documented procedures and best inspection practices.
  • Understand and perform qualifications of received fabrics, materials, and other supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, general business correspondence, technical procedures, procedure manuals, and government regulations.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Technical mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Technical reasoning ability, including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
