Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement design approaches and parameters for electrical systems.
  • Analyze equipment to establish operating data and conduct experimental tests to evaluate results.
  • Plan and design facility establishment, replacements, and modernization projects.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to develop technical solutions.
  • Communicate with internal and client project team members.
  • Apply principles, theories, and concepts of electrical engineering to perform project management tasks.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and coordinate with the General Contractor.
  • Utilize software tools to assist in analysis and design.
  • Participate in engineering to construction hand-off meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from a 4-year accredited college or university.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in commercial, industrial, or government facilities.
  • Current and relevant knowledge of building and other codes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines through to completion.
  • Knowledge of NAS facilities.
  • Ability to conduct efficient, organized, data gathering and data analysis.
  • Ability to develop project plans, schedules, and estimates.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD / MicroStation to create and edit engineering drawings.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and engineering tools/ applications.
