Baker Job Description

The Baker is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for creating a wide range of breads, pastries, and other baked goods as scheduled and requested each day. Key duties include following recipes to produce high-quality products and maintaining the cleanliness of equipment.

Requirements:

  • Experience using a variety of kitchen tools to produce quality baked items
  • Basic math skills for ordering and inventory management
  • High school diploma required; knowledge and experience in a retail baking environment preferred

Work Environment:

This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the workday, as well as the ability to lift, stack, and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 to 50 pounds.

Additional Responsibilities:

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
