Position Summary:

The AM Baker is responsible for leading our bread and pastry production team. We're looking for a skilled professional with a strong foundation in natural fermentation and natural yeast cultures. The ideal candidate will be able to follow recipes, maintain a clean and efficient work environment, and work collaboratively with our team.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred, but not required, 2 years of experience in a professional bakery
  • Experience with natural yeast cultures and fermentation, as well as sheeted pastry
  • Interest in sourcing locally and seasonally
  • Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and time management skills
  • Ability to learn and take direction
  • Self-motivated with a positive demeanor
  • Punctual with strong multitasking skills
  • Will to work early mornings and weekends
