Job Summary

Goodwin University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adjunct Instructor to join our Continuing Education team. As a Continuing Education Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality workshops and training programs to incumbent workers in the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach classes and workshops on advanced manufacturing topics, including quality control, blueprints, and GD&T interpretation.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and interactive training programs that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Workforce Development to design and implement curriculum that aligns with industry needs.
  • Provide excellent face-to-face interpersonal communication skills and possess dynamic public speaking abilities.
  • Collect data and track attendance, deliver and return workshop evaluation surveys, and perform other workshop-related administrative duties.
  • Deliver presentations on related manufacturing fields to outside groups and assist other department staff as needed to promote a team effort.
Requirements
  • Training experience in a professional setting.
  • Acquired industry experience in a business or manufacturing-related field and/or relevant experience in industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required, in a business or manufacturing-related field and/or relevant experience in industry (Master's Degree ideal).
  • Valid Driver's License and Insured Vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MSSC - CPT certification.
  • Experience with education programs and the ability to analyze, synthesize, and interpret data.
