About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controller to join our team at Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation. As a Project Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing projects by providing centralized organization, communication, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the financial services for designated clients or projects, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform financial research, manage project financials, and monitor cash flow to ensure project profitability.
  • Review all project documents to ensure cost, schedule, and terms are met for audit compliance, maintaining the highest level of integrity and transparency.
  • Provide centralized organization and communication for all project participants, ensuring seamless collaboration and information sharing.
  • Ensure contract changes, such as financial, product, and schedule, are agreed upon, executed, and documented, maintaining a clear audit trail.
  • Maintain accurate accounts and ledgers for each project, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Finalize all forecasts, review final costs, and close out projects, ensuring a smooth transition to the next phase.
  • Review and approve all purchasing for project materials and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or related industry experience in a finance-related field, such as accounting, finance, business administration, or economics.
  • Experience in the material handling industry is a plus, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Contract administration or accounting experience is preferred, with a strong background in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software, including MS Office and Excel, with experience in project management software a plus.
  • Knowledge of SOX or JSOX is preferred, with experience in auditing and compliance a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus, with experience in enterprise resource planning a plus.
