  • Work safely at all times, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Diagnose, test, and repair heavy equipment and related machinery with precision and efficiency.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics on Volvo product lines and systems with ease.
  • Complete and submit work orders and warranty claims with detailed descriptions as directed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing equipment problems and offering solutions.
  • Verify equipment functionality after repair and provide telephone support to customers as needed.
  • Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) diligently and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work independently or as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Travel frequently, with occasional overnight stays, to complete assigned tasks.
  • Manage and maintain all necessary tools, ensuring they are secure and in good working condition.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working on construction-related equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Valid California Driver's License and a good driving record.
  • Frequent travel required.

Physical Demands:

  • Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing, with frequent stooping, bending, and overhead reaching.
  • Occasional lifting, pulling, carrying, or pushing objects or materials over 50lbs.
  • May work in loud, noisy, and dusty environments.
  • Must be able to safely handle pneumatic and electric tools.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $51.00, with bonus eligibility. The final salary offered will be determined by factors including geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
