Overview

Hackensack Meridian Health is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, and we're seeking a skilled Customer Service Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the operational needs of our department, ensuring seamless customer service, transportation, supplies, equipment, and environmental service needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff, adhering to our high standards.
  • Assist with environmental service duties, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment, cables, stretchers/wheelchairs, and millwork.
  • Utilize the patient identification band to confirm accurate patient identifiers and communicate effectively with clinical team members.
  • Transport patients and specimens safely and efficiently, utilizing our computerized patient transport system.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and properly labeled, and maintain adequate par levels in assigned areas.
  • Pick up slides for physicians to review and obtain supplies as requested.
  • Participate in using automated systems to assist with patient throughput and maintain operations within assigned areas.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Satisfactory completion of our ETC Operations Technician training program.
