Join Our Leadership Team in Primary Care
As the Director of Primary Care Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Ambulatory Care department. Your role will include:
- Supervision and Coordination: Manage the daily functions of Ambulatory Care, ensuring that both emergency and routine medical procedures are executed efficiently. Collaborate with clinical and support staff to provide comprehensive medical services to our patients.
- Provider Availability: Communicate with relevant personnel regarding provider schedules and coverage during non-business hours to maintain seamless care delivery.
- Educational Oversight: Work closely with the Designated Education Officer and the Internal Medicine Residency Program to ensure that educational initiatives are effectively implemented and that residents receive appropriate supervision.
- Policy Development: Utilize national standards to create and disseminate policies and procedures that guarantee comprehensive care services, ensuring all team members are informed and compliant.
- Resource Coordination: Collaborate with committees to optimize the use of resources, including staffing, supplies, and facility space.
- Staff Orientation: Provide a structured orientation program for new staff members, ensuring they understand Ambulatory Care policies and their specific roles.
- Quality Assurance: Work with the Chief and Assistant Chief of Ambulatory Care to uphold high standards of patient care. Promote quality improvement initiatives and ensure that all staff are engaged in quality management efforts.
- Continuing Education: Ensure that medical record documentation is thorough, organize in-service training for staff, and encourage ongoing professional development.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM
