Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality medical care to adolescents and adults, with occasional pediatric patients
- Manage general primary care, LGBTQI+ primary care, Hepatitis C, HIV, and STI testing and treatment
- Document patient evaluations, diagnostic testing, and treatment plans in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with a team of providers to ensure evidence-based practice and knowledge exchange
- Provide telemedicine services, minor procedures, and review electrocardiograms
- Participate in on-call rotation and patient care team meetings
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and educate staff, patients, and the community on health conditions
- MD or DO with specialization in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Board certification by ABFM, AOBFM, ABIM, or AOBIM
- DEA registration and Alabama Controlled Substances Certificate eligibility
- BLS certification and eligibility for Collaborative Practice Agreements
