Job Summary:
MetroNet is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to join our team. As an Operations Support Specialist, you will be responsible for daily routing and monitoring of technician dispatch activities for field operations. This position will monitor/adjust technician quota, routing, and compliance with the ETA/TOA workforce management application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and adjust technicians routes as needed
- Perform daily routing of resources within a region
- Monitor OFSC Compliance for the field operations workforce
- Assist technicians with issues that may arise during an activity
- Communicate with supervisors and managers about operations and/or Operations Specialist issues
- Receive inbound calls from technicians, internal associates, and customers
- Use software tools to manage a variety of tasks to support field operations (OFSC, Footprints, Q-Manager, Microsoft Office application, etc.)
- Place outbound telephone calls to customers as necessary to confirm date/time for service call visits or gather additional information related to service problems
- Special projects as assigned by the department supervisor
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience in computer-based order entry systems
- Proficient with MS Word and Excel
- Strong planning, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Excellent people and process management skills
- Good analytical and communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with multiple department staffs
- Ability to recognize priority issues and escalate accordingly
- Ability to learn new processes and procedures
- A drive to win as a part of a team
