Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement supplier quality plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, programs, and internal stakeholders to drive quality improvements and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities to identify and address quality problems, ensuring timely closure and minimizing disruptions.
  • Partner with Design and Operations Quality teams to develop and implement quality management systems, including APQP/PPAP (AS9145) and Lean-6Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to select and manage suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, quality management, or a related field.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with ISO 9000:2000, Lean, and 6Sigma certifications a plus.
  • Strong communication, influence, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in engineering, quality, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with AS9100/9102 Quality Systems and AS9145 or APQP.
  • L6S Green belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
