Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in innovation within designated technical domains.
- Oversee and manage small to medium-scale projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and company developments related to assigned technical areas.
- Research and develop machine learning algorithms and tools aimed at enhancing the performance and design of renewable energy systems.
- Collaborate with national and international experts in the field to foster innovation.
- Engage with the research community and technology developers to inform and guide technology development initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to identify and implement solutions for system integration and optimization.
- Perform additional job-related tasks as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in two or more of the following areas: solar photovoltaic design, battery storage system design, geospatial data analysis, and AI applications in renewable energy.
- Proven analytical skills in areas such as model creation, statistical analysis, and system performance optimization.
- Ability to design and develop machine learning and deep learning systems.
- Experience in solar resource assessment and optimal sizing of solar and storage solutions.
- Exhibit a high level of technical maturity and take ownership of specialized technical objectives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field from an accredited program with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree in the same fields with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- PhD in a related field with up to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
