Core Responsibilities

Our optometrists engage in comprehensive primary care, which extends beyond prescribing corrective lenses. They manage a wide range of ocular conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Treatment of corneal ulcers and uveitis
  • Management of red eye conditions
  • Diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma
  • Removal of foreign bodies from the eye
  • Assessment of macular diseases, retinal holes, and detachments

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution and hold or be eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
