Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their assigned worksite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor patient conditions and detect changes in condition or response to medication or therapy.
  • Identify symptoms of illnesses and changes in conditions, and report to a physician or registered nurse for diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Administer medications, including injectable, j-tube, and g-tube medications.
  • Implement and monitor g-tube and j-tube feedings, including changing g-tubes as necessary.
  • Perform catheterization orders, trach care, deep oral and pharyngeal suctioning.
  • Assist patients in collecting urine, stool, and other specimens for analysis.
  • Prepare and maintain charts and records of treatments administered.
  • Perform inventory of medical supplies and medications to determine ordering needs.
  • Perform direct care duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • A license and current registration to practice as a practical nurse in New York State, or a limited permit to practice as a practical nurse in New York State, or an application on file for a limited permit to practice as a practical nurse in New York State.
  • A valid Driver's license and proof of a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in New York State.
