Key Responsibilities- Provide case management with a focus on helping SNAP E&T participants prepare for employment that leads to self-sufficiency
- Schedule and conduct workshops, webinars, and other Job Readiness activities designed to prepare SNAP E&T participants for career opportunities
- Coordinate with the Business Services team to deliver online learning activities related to individual employment plans and goals, and monitor progress
- Administer Pre/Post-test assessments and conduct assessments of skills, aptitudes, and abilities
- Research and identify job coaching, mentorship, and support services to help SNAP E&T participants overcome barriers
- Ensure adequate preparation for all training activities and interpret employer feedback to tailor case management and job coaching as needed
- Collaborate with area businesses, advisory groups, and agencies to encourage the further development of opportunities
- Investigate and share ideas regarding post-secondary options and adult services and network with all appropriate community agencies and organizations
- Develop rapport with SNAP E&T participants to mutually explore career options and interests
- Encourage SNAP E&T participants to maintain career portfolios and work with them individually or in groups to problem solve employment issues
- Associate's degree or higher in education, counseling, social work, or a related field preferred
- High School Diploma/Equivalency with 1-2 years of case management experience within human services, preferably in Career Counseling, can be used in lieu of Associate's Degree
- Strong facilitation, public speaking, and guided learning background
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lead learning processes and relate to diverse populations
