Warehouse Inventory Coordinator Job Summary

WorkSmart Staffing is seeking a skilled Warehouse Inventory Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of inventory in our warehouse.

Responsibilities:

* Count and verify inventory levels on a regular schedule to identify discrepancies and discrepancies related to user intervention

* Inspect and wrap packages to meet company standards

* Unpack and verify incoming shipments against bill of lading or other records

* Load and unload merchandise onto or off of trailers using hand trucks, forklifts, and manual methods

* Examine and compare merchandise with original requisition to record information such as quantity, type of defects, and date on invoice or other forms

* Sort, secure, and count prescanned totes and cases for assigned routes

* Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or a-frame according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or product code

* Interact with voice-directed picking systems to fill shipping orders

* Pull items in specified quantities from shelves at or above expected productivity levels and verify that correct items are picked with correct count ensuring an accuracy rate at or above expected levels

* Utilize hand-held locating devices to locate specific case locations

* Rotate stock according to expiration date to ensure FIFO compliance

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

* Ability to write simple correspondence

* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

* Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Estimated Salary: $17.00 per hour
