Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and supporting equipment
  • Assist with scheduling and overseeing contractor work to ensure safe practices and quality work
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and process engineering teams on equipment installation and decommissioning
  • Work from blueprints, drawings, or rough sketches to innovate solutions as needed
  • Document processes and write procedures to meet timelines

Requirements:

  • Electrical and mechanical facility equipment experience highly desired
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to drive quality results in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Strong mechanical background, hazardous chemical background, and strong team skills
  • Software experience, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with systems such as HVAC, Water Purification, Gas Distribution, Chemical Distribution, Waste Treatment, Abatements, Dosing System, pumps, and chillers
  • Minimum Associate degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable field of study, or 5+ years' experience in a related field

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:

  • Job duties may require working in confined areas, in awkward positions, and/or in high places
  • May require bending, stooping, crawling, or climbing
  • May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with hazardous materials or conditions
  • Must be willing to obtain Emergency Response Team certification and CPR/AED/BBP training
