Job Responsibilities:
The role of the Aviation Maintenance Specialist entails the following:
- Possession of an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
- A minimum of three (3) years of recent hands-on experience in airframe and powerplant maintenance.
- At least one (1) year of hands-on experience with King Air aircraft.

Note:

The one year of King Air experience may be waived at the discretion of the Program Manager if the candidate demonstrates relevant proficiencies in similar areas.

- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
- Must qualify for and obtain a DOD "Secret" security clearance and a passport (if required) to fulfill contractual obligations.
- Willingness to travel to various locations that may require overnight stays.
- Capability to lift 30 lbs routinely and 50 lbs on occasion.

Environmental conditions may vary significantly, ranging from an office setting with minimal physical discomfort to outdoor environments where adverse weather may expose individuals to extreme temperature changes, inadequate lighting, dust, and wind.

Occasionally, individuals may need to work in areas with high noise levels where hearing protection is mandatory.

Office tasks will consume approximately 10% of the candidate's time, while around 90% will be spent in more challenging conditions.
