Key Responsibilities:- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available.
- Assist surgeons during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
- Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to guidelines for patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to implement and adhere to safety protocols.
- Participate in patient preparation activities, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed before entering the operating room.
- Assist in the maintenance and care of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Accredited surgical technology education and certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.
- Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
- Commitment to excellence and a strong dedication to professional development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with advances in surgical technology and best practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
