Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Receiver to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for overseeing the receiving dock area, ensuring the efficient flow of products, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect incoming trailers and products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Verify items on receiving schedules against bills of lading and record counts on appropriate forms/database.
  • Perform damage control checks and contact supervisors as needed.
  • Coordinate and/or unload and transport items to staging areas using forklift/pallet jack.
  • Assist Forklift Operators by putting away, breaking down pallets, and re-wrapping pallets.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
