Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Distribution Department as a Warehouse Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing tasks related to shipping and receiving of materials, processing computer transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and perform tasks related to shipping and receiving of materials, including processing computer transactions and preparing related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and ensure a safe, clean, and orderly warehouse environment.
  • Complete Oracle production travelers, package materials per customer specifications, and post material issue and receipt transactions.
  • Coordinate pick-up and delivery with carriers, generate shipping documents, and send for and collect proper QC releases and documentation.
  • Perform WMS transactions, confirm and freight rating transactions, load and unload trailers, and complete purchase order receiving transactions.
  • Generate inventory labels for raw materials, perform QC sampling, verification of compliance, and related documentation, and organize and store materials.
  • Stock materials for all manufacturing and support departments, order packaging supplies, and coordinate returns of packaging to vendors.
  • Perform cycle counts, maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, and move chemicals and/or waste materials within the facility.
  • Maintain the chemical storage area(s) and/or waste storage area(s) in a clean and orderly manner, package, label, and prepare waste for storage as well as transportation as requested.
  • Inspect the facility and equipment regularly, notify appropriate personnel of any incidents or occurrences that may trigger implementation of the Contingency Plan, and may perform additional emergency response activities as directed by the emergency coordinator.
Requirements
  • One year of warehouse experience, certification in Hazardous Communications, Lockout/Tagout, and Forklift operations (or certification with 30 days), and good communication and team working skills.
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures, computer literate, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and ability to work cooperatively with all plant departments.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation, GED, and ability to self-pace learning including book, web-based, and classroom participation.
  • Basic knowledge of Oracle software, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Loftware, and Groupwise, and Forklift experience.
  • High school Diploma or higher education.
