Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker

AvaMed Workforce is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team at a correctional facility in Stockton, CA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide mental health services to inmates at our correctional facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical social work, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide mental health services to inmates, including individual and group therapy sessions
  • Conduct initial mental health evaluations and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document all care provided to inmates, including progress notes and treatment plans
  • Monitor inmate progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in IDTT meetings and provide input on new programs for the treatment, training, or rehabilitation of inmates
  • Comprehend and adhere to CA and CDCR law, regulations, policies, and procedures regarding patient confidentiality and the release of patient records
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
  • California State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a correctional setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
