As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for supervising and assigning specific responsibilities to all transportation personnel, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery/pick-up of all service requests for customers and other transportation activities as required by the needs of the company and customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site transportation and ensure all drivers are compliant with regulations.
  • Ensure the assigned team provides excellent internal and external customer service while achieving total labor goals.
  • Manage new hire training, performance appraisals, and ensure delivery performance standards and operational practices are in line.
  • Communicate with manager regarding any accidents, special, late or missing deliveries and forward information to the appropriate parties.
  • Oversee troubleshooting issues, and maintenance of products/equipment to ensure proper function and maximize uptime.
  • Research and answer difficult customer questions about product features or issues.
  • Implement methods, guidelines and policies to facilitate efficient service delivery.
  • Act as a source of guidance to assist with complex services and issues.
  • Qualify the initial trouble ticket and assign it to the appropriate Technician.
  • Generate management reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to have a strong understanding of transportation regulations and procedures.
