Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Medical/Surgical unit. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Manage common medical-surgical conditions, such as gastrointestinal bleeding, congestive heart failure, and respiratory failure.
  • Work in a 21-30 bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6.
  • Float to different units as needed within your skillset.
  • Participate in holiday rotation and a structured orientation program.
Requirements:
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Iowa.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Medical/Surgical setting.
  • Ability to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination requirements.
