Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team in the Surgical Inpatient Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide patient care and consult with supervisory RNs as needed.
  • Contribute to the admission assessment process by collecting and reporting data in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist in identifying and supporting a multidisciplinary approach to determine appropriate patient care interventions.
  • Administer medications and perform tasks within the scope of practice.
  • Communicate progress towards agreed-upon goals of care and assist in updating the plan and goals of care as needed.
Requirements
  • Completed an accredited LPN program.
  • Previous CNA/PCT experience preferred.
  • Possess current LPN licensure in the State of Iowa or compact state.
  • Writes, reads, speaks, and comprehends fluent English.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in manual skills and techniques required to perform basic nursing procedures.
