Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology

Position Overview:
The Department of Psychology at Teachpsych is seeking a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology. This role involves teaching undergraduate psychology courses and contributing to a hybrid Master's program in Mental Health Counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver four courses per semester, including supervision of practicum students.
- Engage in departmental service and assess student learning outcomes.
- Teach a variety of courses such as foundations of mental health counseling, group counseling, and ethics.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology or a closely related discipline. Experience in face-to-face teaching at the undergraduate level is essential, along with a commitment to student-centered learning and collaboration. Candidates should also have experience in developing and teaching online courses.
Due to the supervisory nature of the graduate program, a license to practice independently is required. Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana, with all licensure requirements to be fulfilled within 18 months of hire.
