Job Description

Unity Family Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family-Based Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our Family-Based Mental Health Program, you will play a vital role in providing intensive, individualized treatment and skills training to families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop thorough treatment plans for families.
  2. Provide individual and family therapy sessions, as well as skills training and support.
  3. Collaborate with other professionals, including co-therapists and mental health aids, to form effective treatment teams.
  4. Coordinate support services and services provided by other organizations, such as schools and mental health programs.
  5. Ensure timely and accurate completion of paperwork, including progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
  • Experience working with families and children, preferably in a mental health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Valid PA driver's license and auto insurance required.
