Community Outreach Coordinator for Hospice Services

Position Overview
This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in hospice care and a comprehensive understanding of HCHB EMR. Applications lacking this experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
• Foster collaborative relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
• Manage the company's financial resources effectively, ensuring a positive return on investments and adhering to a marketing budget.
• Conduct impactful sales calls that identify and address the needs of the referral community, articulating the advantages of Lilycare of New Mexico's services. This includes thorough pre-call and post-call planning, building rapport, utilizing effective questioning techniques, proposing tailored solutions, overcoming objections, and closing deals.
• Develop and implement a strategic plan on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to enhance market presence through key account development, including prospecting and optimizing call frequency and routing. Plan activities to ensure comprehensive coverage of both existing and potential accounts.
• Engage in strategic planning and problem-solving initiatives aimed at marketing growth and community education.
• Achieve admission targets as outlined during the hiring process or as reviewed in annual budget assessments.
• Complete assignments promptly as directed by supervisors.
• Attend team meetings to provide updates on accounts, customer needs, and progress towards growth strategies.
• Organize educational in-services with community and medical groups to promote hospice services as required.
• Maintain daily communication by checking emails and responding to messages within 24 business hours.
• Oversee all sales administration tasks, including CRM compliance, expense reporting, payroll documentation, strategic territory planning, and necessary paperwork delivery.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
Licensing Requirements
• Must have current automobile insurance coverage.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
Skills and Competencies
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for marketing and community outreach.
• Strong communication skills with a positive demeanor.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Must possess independent transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance, with the ability to drive within the state.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospice experience is required.
• Ability to optimize resource utilization for cost-effectiveness.
