Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team at Folience. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling electrical components, including wiring, cutting, and building consoles, as well as running system testing and preparing and installing parts, covers, and wires into exterior compartments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical components, including wiring, cutting, and building consoles
  • Run system testing and prepare and install parts, covers, and wires into exterior compartments
  • Hook up load centers, inverters, door switches, antennas, and heating and air conditioning systems
  • Install air horn pumps, on-spot pumps, and air ride pumps
  • Prep, drill, and pre-wire trucks for taillights, underneath wiring, and ground straps
  • Hook up A/C and heater hoses, grille and intersection lights, horn and siren speakers
  • Help other departmental employees and adhere to production schedules while maintaining a quality product
Requirements
  • Must have an electrical background, including 12V and 110V knowledge
  • Must have knowledge and hands-on experience with AC and DC circuits
  • Must have mechanical/electrical aptitude, including power and/or air tools
  • Must be able to run or learn to use wire strippers, wire cutters, crimpers, pliers, table saws, drills, hand torches, grinders, and other equipment as assigned
  • Must have knowledge and hands-on experience with harness building processes
  • Must be able to problem-solve and make decisions
  • Must have the ability to teach other employees processes
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
  • Ability to inspect finished products during manufacturing
  • Must apply quality assurance techniques
  • Must meet or exceed cost reduction goals
  • Must have the ability to understand manufacturing methods and techniques
  • Knowledgeable of Life Line product and materials needed for production
  • Must possess the ability to meet deadlines
  • Work with and assist other production personnel
  • Must have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Must have good measuring and mathematical skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Working Hours

Monday - Thursday: 6 am - 3:30 pm, Friday: 6 am - 10 am. Must be flexible and able to come in earlier or stay late on certain days.

  • Ability to stand, walk, grip, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, lift, move, and carry
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to use your senses of sight, touch, sound, and smell
