Nurse Practitioner

Orange Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and effective communication.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular injections.
- Provide wound care to improve skin integrity and promote patient well-being.
- Document patient progress and communicate with family members regarding new orders, changes in condition, or routine check-ins.
- Participate in center surveys and contribute to the development of nursing services for resident discharge plans.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Complete accident/incident reports as necessary and maintain accurate electronic records using Point Click Care.
- Receive telephone orders from physicians and ensure the proper handling of narcotics in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Participate in associate performance evaluations and make recommendations to the Nurse Supervisor.
- Develop work assignments and prioritize tasks to ensure resident safety and well-being.
- Make daily rounds to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients.
- Administer professional services such as catheterizations, tube feedings, suction, and applying/dressing changes.
- Attend in-service programs and maintain professional competence through continuing education.
- Current and valid RN license required.
