Job Title: Mason Laborer

We are seeking a skilled Mason Laborer to join our team at Benchmark Masonry. As a Mason Laborer, you will be responsible for supporting our skilled tradesmen by performing a variety of general labor tasks.

• Setup, teardown, and cleanup of job sites
• Use power tools including drills, grinders, saws, and other varied tools
• Cut materials to specified sizes for installation using power saws or cutters
• Construction of scaffolding or other installation structures
• Stock materials
• Maintain and keep clean all equipment used
• Clean working surfaces and perform site maintenance and cleanup
• Other duties as assigned by the Foreman or Superintendent

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must be reliable and hardworking
• Required to have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and reliable transportation to and from work
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 120 pounds
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel in a repetitive motion; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, including working on hands and knees for extended periods of time
• Work in high, precarious places such as scaffolding and ladders
• Work in outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat or cold
• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
• Required to complete all work safely, with quality, and within product specifications, as directed by the foreman or superintendent
• Attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy is a plus

• During the masonry season, If working 8-hour days, the schedule is Monday-Friday
• During the masonry season, If working 10-hour days, the schedule is Monday-Thursday
• During the snow plowing season, work days and hours will vary
