Warehouse Forklift Operator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team at Clayton Services in Southwest Houston. As a Warehouse Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely moving and storing products in our warehouse. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to load and unload goods from trucks and shelves
  • Verify the accuracy of received goods by comparing them to the work order
  • Identify and report any damaged or missing goods
  • Ensure that delivery forms are signed only upon satisfaction of the completed order
  • Label goods properly using lot and item numbers
  • Record the movement of goods using barcode scanners
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

Requirements:

  • Teamwork and coordination skills
  • Time management and reporting skills
  • Inventory control and ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Certified Forklift Operator
  • Bilingual Spanish, a plus
