Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary customer service to enhance the patient experience for individuals and their families.
  • Maintain professionalism in all interactions with patients and colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment focused on care.
  • Generate high-quality ultrasound images to support clinical decision-making.
  • Evaluate patient information to determine the necessity and appropriateness of ultrasound procedures, adhering to accreditation standards.
  • Assess patients for peripheral vascular disease, utilizing a range of diagnostic techniques including duplex scanning and doppler ultrasound.
  • Document and communicate test results to physicians, ensuring thorough preparation of patient records for review.
  • Be available for shift rotations or on-call duties as required by operational needs.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Vascular Imaging, or Cardiovascular Technology program.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in sonography, including training.

Licensure and Certifications

  • ARDMS (RVT) or ARRT (VS) certification.
  • Current BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $38.26 per hour.
