Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team at WinTec Arrowmaker, Inc. in Tampa, FL. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, producing, and testing various mechanical and electromechanical systems, including GPS tracking devices, shock sensors, and prototype devices for government and experimental testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to build, test, and deploy products for customers.
  • Work with software developers to deploy integrated products and solutions.
  • Develop integration plans and strategies for sensors to include Unmanned Systems and Drones into military systems.
  • Participate in field experimentation, testing, and troubleshooting of various types of electronics and mechanical systems.
  • Travel to government sites and support field experimentation.
  • Work with project managers on production efforts to ensure that projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with engineering and other support personnel to identify improvements to equipment, processes, and overall productivity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Systems Engineering or a STEM discipline.
  • 2+ years' experience desired.
  • Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
  • Basic understanding of Window and Linux Operating Systems.
  • Understanding of basic network principles.
  • Experience with soldering.
Preferred Skills
  • Military background or familiarity with military command and control structures.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the organizational interface of military, federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Demonstrate time management, problem-solving skills, self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to efficiently react to shifting program requirements and work in a team environment.
  • Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
