Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in the Tampa, FL area.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Focuses on DoD artifacts and documentation to perform requirements analysis, including decomposition of high-level requirements into artifacts assignable during Agile program increments and sprints.
  • Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
  • Interact with project teams regarding systems engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
  • Communicate with other Technical Direction Plan (TDL) project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives.
  • Responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC 15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area.
  • Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as Systems Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field.
  • Five or more (5+) years of related experience.
  • If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required.
  • If a candidate holds an Associate's degree rather than a Bachelor's degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in STEM or related discipline.
  • Relevant industry-standard certifications such as INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP), or OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional–Advanced (OCSMP-A) certifications.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
Clearance Requirements:

This role requires an active TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearance.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
